With the advent of modern engineering facilities and equipment, electricity consumption in various industries has rapidly increased, especially with the emergence of numerous high-rise buildings and large factories. Traditional cables, as transmission conductors, can no longer meet the requirements of high-current transmission systems. The parallel use of multiple cables brings many inconveniences to on-site installation, construction, and connection. Pluggable aluminum busbar trunking has emerged as a new type of power distribution line. Compared with traditional cables, it fully demonstrates its superiority in high-current transmission. At the same time, due to the adoption of new technologies and processes, aluminum busbars have been greatly reduced. The contact resistance and temperature rise at the connection points between the two ends of the slot and the branch are reduced, and the aluminum busbar uses insulating materials, improving the aluminum busbar

An aluminum busbar is a shared path where multiple devices connect in parallel branches. In a computer system, it refers to multiple computers connected in parallel, allowing data transmission between these computers, but only one device can send data simultaneously through this shared high-speed path.

With the advent of modern engineering facilities and equipment, electricity consumption in various industries has rapidly increased, especially with the emergence of numerous high-rise buildings and large factories. Traditional cables as transmission conductors can no longer meet the requirements of high-current transmission systems. The parallel use of multiple cables brings many inconveniences to on-site installation and connection. Pluggable aluminum busbar trunking has emerged as a new type of power distribution line. Compared with traditional cables, it fully demonstrates its superiority in high-current transmission. At the same time, due to the adoption of new technologies and processes, aluminum busbars significantly reduce the contact resistance and temperature rise at the connection points between the trough ends and the support. The use of insulating materials enhances the safety and reliability of the aluminum busbar, making the entire system more robust.

Aluminum busbar

An aluminum busbar is a system composed of a metal plate (steel or aluminum plate) as a protective shell, conductive bars, insulating materials, and related accessories. It can be made into standard-length segmented, interval pluggable junction boxes, or into a feed-through enclosed aluminum busbar without intermediate junction boxes, offering advantages in power supply, installation, and maintenance.

Aluminum busbar trunking has evolved in insulation methods, progressing from air-sealed aluminum busbar trunking, sealed insulated aluminum busbar trunking, to high-strength composite insulated aluminum busbar trunking.

Aluminum busbars have high current density, low resistance, and low skin effect, eliminating the need for capacity reduction. They exhibit low voltage drop, minimal energy loss, and save users investment. For cables, because the core is made of multiple strands of thin copper wire, its root area is larger than that of an aluminum busbar of the same current rating. Furthermore, its“skin effect” is severe, reducing the rated current, increasing the voltage drop, and causing easy heating. The line energy loss is large, and it is prone to aging.

The metal casing of the aluminum busbar trunking protects the aluminum busbar from mechanical damage or animal damage. Installing plugs in the power distribution system is safe. The casing can be grounded as a whole, making grounding very reliable. The cable'sPVC casing is easily susceptible to mechanical damage, and the power should be cut off when installing the cable. If problems occur, it can be very dangerous.
